She has trouble sleeping and finds herself having “accidents” in public and needing diapers, she knows her time is coming.  Not wanting to stick around a few more years and needing to be put away and watching her husband go through her decline she decides to end her life on her birthday,

Trying to stay in some control before the day, she watches the life she once known slowly disappear each day as she cannot do what she used to do.  We see her struggling to cope and her quick decline.

Then there is Scott Coffman a middle school teacher whose wife is expecting their first child.  They been foster parents to an eight old boy whose mom is in jail sentence for drugs. And she is getting out soon and will be release back into her custody.  Scott finds it hard to say goodbye to him as he is attached to him but he knows it was only temporary as he must face the upcoming birth of their own child.
