At seventeen, Diana’s world is about to change when she hears that the person she thought was not her father was not really her father by her mother over breakfast.  Her relationship with her mother has always been rocky as she is still caught up in her mother’s difficulties when she rather stay with her father.  From then on, she wonders who her real father is but her mom refuses to tell her about him.

Meantime her boyfriend goes missing and is found in Canada and his memories are missing.  He does not remember her nor his parents who try to bring him home initially but he finally consents about returning home.  As he returns, to his childhood home, he starts to remember things and Diana where they eventually reunite.

Diana starts to question things when her mom refuses to give her birth certificate and with the help of her dad she learns about a kidnapped baby born on the same day.  With her mom questionable behavior, she wonders if she could be the kidnapped baby in question.
Can she cope with the knowledge that she is not who she thought she was?  Can she forgive the mother who stole her from her real parents and find love?  An interesting story and the things people will try to rationalize what they do.

Donelle Knudsen was born in Portland, Oregon, the beautiful City of Roses, but has lived in Eastern Washington since 1988. She also writes short stories, poetry, and memoir, and owes her love of books and the craft of writing to her late father, who was never too busy to read to her or to make visits to the “big” library every Saturday. She then earned a B.S. in Arts & Letters from Portland State University and is a four-time finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association’s literary contest in the memoir category. Her first book, “Through the Tunnel of Love, A Mother’s and Daughter’s Journey with Anorexia” was published in 2011.
