Synopsis
A man plummets to his death during the York Races. Despite the large crowds, no witnesses are able to help confirm if the death was a suicide or a murder. Newly- promoted Detective Ian Peterson is plunged into the complex case that splashes across the headlines.All the while the killer has begun to hunt his next victim and before long the body count increases. With pressure to solve the cases mounting Ian must put aside his personal life despite pressure from his wife. But the killer is following the investigation far more intensely than Ian realizes and time is running out as the case suddenly gets a lot closer to home...

His brother Richard meanwhile is stalk by the killer who
leaves him death threats. Afraid to go
to the police in fear of secrets he does not want out.
Newly appointed Detective Inspector Ian Peterson is assigned
the case at the races when a woman‘s body is also found. There are no suspects even when Richard
becomes the next victim.
For Detective Peterson the case seems like it is not going
anywhere but when his wife is sudden kidnapped by the killer, he realizes he is
closer to the truth. Can he catch the killer before she becomes the next
victim?
This is a quick pace story that moves along at an enjoyable
rate.
