struggles with her family hatred of her new husband and the aristocrat who
hates him.
Finding themselves living with her parents who put them in
separate sleeping quarters, they maintain a love hate relationship. Varian will disappear at times not telling
her where he goes which only adds to her jealously that he is with his former
mistress. He fails to tell her of his
dealings for revenge in his quest to keep her safe.
Amidst the dangers their passion for each still holds strong
