~ Book Synopsis ~
They walked through the shadows individually. Will they emerge into the light together?
Leading a vagabond life as a curator for a traveling photography exhibit translates to a lot of bad days for Rikki Salerno. But her trouble doubles when a careless high school student shoves her into a marsh. Being rescued by teacher Sam Kerrigan should have made things better, but Rikki’s inability to confess her true identity casts a shadow over their budding affair.
When Sam refuses an overly aggressive parent’s marriage proposal, she’s determined to ruin him. Not only does she doctor photos to make it look like Sam’s behaved inappropriately in front of students, she hacks the foundation website to reveal Rikki’s true identity. Faster than the blink of a shutter, Rikki’s focus changes from pursuing her full-color future to the black and white necessity of clearing Sam’s name.

Marguerite Sims aka Rikki Salerno heads a foundation for her
grandfather and is the travelling curator of a photography exhibition. She has trust issues and usually uses her Rikki
alias since she was bullied in high school and later on her college her
boyfriend treated her badly before he left her.
When out photographing by a marsh, she is rescued by a
teacher name Sam Kerrigan after one of his students pushes her in. While saving her, he accident gropes her
breasts as one of his students takes pictures that will haunt them later.
They are both attracted to each other but she tells him her
name is Rikki. As they grow closer, she
tries to tell him, who she really is but every time she tries he keeps bad
mouthing Marguerite. There is no good
moment to reveal the truth as they become close to each other.
When a spurn mother of one of his students who wants Sam to
be her next husband makes allegations about his improper behavior in front of
his students with photos taken out of context and Photoshop, Sam is suspended
from school. Meantime the Sims website
has been hacked with photos of them making out at her place with captions using
her real name.
When he sees the captions he realizes who she really is and
runs off saying he was just using her.
How could she lies to him especially when she knew how much he hates
being lied to?
Will these two find away to forgive each other and realize
that they love each other? Can they
fight their adversaries together?

~ About the Author ~
Gemma's favorite desk accessories for many years were a circular wooden token, better known as a 'round tuit,' and a slip of paper from a fortune cookie proclaiming her a lover of words; some day she'd write a book. All it took was a transfer to the United Kingdom, the lovely English springtime, and a huge dose of homesickness to write her first novel. Once it was completed and sent off with a kiss, even the rejections addressed to 'Dear Author' were gratifying.
Good morning and thank you for hosting me on your blog today and for the lovely review. Thanks also to Literati Author Services for arranging my visit today.
