THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE AUNTIES by Jesse Q. Sutanto

 ABOUT THE BOOK

What should have been a family celebration of Chinese New Year descends into chaos when longtime foes crash the party in this hilariously entertaining novel by Jesse Q. Sutanto, bestselling author of Dial A for Aunties.

After an ultra-romantic honeymoon across Europe, Meddy Chan and her husband Nathan have landed in Jakarta to spend Chinese New Year with her entire extended family. Chinese New Year, already the biggest celebration of the Lunar calendar, gets even more festive when a former beau of Second Aunt’s shows up at the Chan residence bearing extravagant gifts—he’s determined to rekindle his romance with Second Aunt and the gifts are his way of announcing his courtship.

His grand gesture goes awry however, when it’s discovered that not all the gifts were meant for Second Aunt and the Chans—one particular gift was intended for a business rival to cement their alliance and included by accident. Of course the Aunties agree that it’s only right to return the gift—after all, anyone would forgive an honest mistake, right? But what should have been a simple retrieval turns disastrous and suddenly Meddy and the Aunties are helpless pawns in a decades-long war between Jakarta’s most powerful business factions. The fighting turns personal, however, when Nathan and the Aunties are endangered and it’s up to Meddy to come up with a plan to save them all. Determined to rescue her loved ones, Meddy embarks on an impossible mission—but with the Aunties by her side, nothing is truly impossible…

Teaser Vile Boys

“They made you so wet … I wonder how often they’ve been thinking of fucking you … of sticking their tongues inside that sweet, aching pussy of yours.” He licks his lips as he looks up at me from underneath those dark eyelashes. “Well, they got their wish … And now I will make them fucking wish they never even looked at you.” The wicked glimmer in his eyes, however, makes me wish I never relinquished my knife to that guard out front. Dammit. “Do you remember what I told you the first time I thrusted my fingers into your pussy?” he says, and he grips my arm and pulls me towards him. “Tell me.” Oh, I remember all right. The warning was seared into my mind. “The next time you penetrate me…” “It will be the cock of a God thrusting into your wet, aching pussy,” he finishes, making me blush, before he pulls me up right on top of him and sinks me down onto the tip of his dripping, hard cock. And I gasp as one by one each piercing enters me, the metal cold and hard against my softness, while the stare behind his mask is even colder and harsher. “One,” he says, and he pushes me down. “Two.” Gripping my waist, he pulls me down further. “Three.” Is he … counting the inches?! “Four.” “Fuck,” I groan. “We’re not even halfway there.” “What?!” I gasp, as he forces me down further. “Five.” He forces me to sink even deeper, and I can barely hold on tight as I sit down on his lap slowly. ❤❤❤ COMING FEBRUARY 1st, 2024!! Vile Boys Cover Reveal

Title: Vile Boys

Author: Clarissa Wild

Genre: Dark Bully RH Romance

Release Date: February 1st, 2024

Blurb

They think they’re gods, but I will bring them to their knees.

All I’ve ever known is how to be a good girl.

My father called me his little jewel. I was the promise of a better life for us all.

So I studied hard and treated everyone kindly, just like he’d taught me.

Until I witnessed three vile boys kill.

Ares, Caleb, and Blaine from the Tartarus House. Devilish, hedonistic, ruthless guys determined to break me. They’re self-proclaimed gods of their own purgatory, and they won’t rest until I’ve been silenced.

Their wicked games drive me insane. What they crave is my submission on a silver platter.

And when they threaten my mother’s life, I finally agree to let them own me.

Their filth is overpowering, and my body is corrupted in every way possible.

Debauchery is what they’re good at, burning every inch of my soul until there’s nothing left but hatred for how good they make it feel … hatred for how badly they make me yearn them.

But I will use this hatred against them…

Turn it into a weapon of vengeance…

Make even Gods kneel.

Excerpt

“Are you afraid of death?”

My eyes burst open at the sound of his voice.

It’s him.

My body tightens as his moves closer, my fingers thrumming against the pocket in my dress, where I keep the small knife I’ve always brought everywhere I go ever since that one night.

“You know who I am, don’t you?” he whispers into my ear, breath lingering near my skin, creating goosebumps all over. “Say my name.”

There’s an air of darkness slowly enveloping me.

“Ares.” His name rolls off my tongue like I’m summoning a demon from hell.

“Good girl … So you’ve heard what people say about me.” He grabs a strand of my hair and lifts it up. “And yet you still smiled at me. Why?”

“Why … I smiled?” I’m flabbergasted this is the question he’d ask.

“You’ve seen what I’m capable of. Why aren’t you terrified?”

I suck in a breath through my teeth, staying put, despite his looming presence towering over me. “I don’t break for anyone.”

I’ve been broken far too many times to let anyone shatter me ever again.

His fingers dig deeper into my dress. “We’ll see about that.”

I stick my hand into my pocket and grasp the handle of my knife.

“You can’t kill me in front of all these people,” I mutter, sweat drops trickling down my back.

I can hear him snort away a laugh. “You think I want to kill you?”

“You killed those men,” I whisper back.

It’s out there now.

“I did kill them.”

How he so easily admits to it makes my blood boil.

“Aren’t you going to ask me why?”

I bite my lip, wondering what I should say. Every word feels like a maze, and each answer leads into his carefully laid out trap. “Does it change the outcome?”

There’s a pause. “You have a way with words.”

I grasp the banister of the terrace, ready to kick back. “And you destroy people because of the words they speak.”

“Don’t pretend to know about my business,” he says. “I don’t think you understand what it takes to lead the Tartarus house. But I do.”

A knife suddenly prods into my waist, making my heart jump.

“You know my secret. But I’m not here to kill you, Crystal.”

My jaw drops.

How does he know my name?

“I don’t want you to die. Not this sweet, innocent, soul who smiled so happily at a killer.” He plays with my hair, coiling it around his finger like I’m a shiny, new toy to play with. “No, what I want is something far more sinister.”

I hold my breath to stop his blade from piercing my skin.

“Your fear.”

I can’t breathe. Can’t swallow. Can’t even flinch without feeling the tip of his knife bore into me. But I will never give him the thing he wants most.

His free hand trails a line from my neck all the way down to where my dress covers my breasts, and when he hovers over it, I grasp his hand.

“Oh … so the little innocent girl does have some bite to her,” he murmurs. “Good. A chase isn’t fun without a challenge.”

Excerpt 2

When I look over my shoulder, my breath falters.

There’s two of them now, staring me down from the far end of the main campus grounds, and I can’t help but wonder if they’re smiling behind those damn masks.

I run away as fast as I can in the only direction that’s still safe; the Spine Ridge gardens. My heart’s going a million miles an hour, and it almost feels like they can hear it. Like it fuels their desire to chase me even faster.

Every time I glance over my shoulder, there’s at least one of them right behind me, slowly catching up with me.

Shit.

Rain trickles down across my cheeks and I brush my hair out of my face to see better in the darkness. There has to be somewhere I can go where they can’t find me. But before I know it, I’ve ran all the way to the rose gardens.

My phone buzzes and take a quick glance.

Prick: Tick tock, little rose. What will you do? Run and hide? Or face your demons?

My feet almost tumble over themselves when I spot a guy in a gold demon mask with horns standing mere feet away from me, casually tossing a lighter up and down, the suit he’s wearing completely soaked through.

But none of it seems to matter.

Not when their mission is to destroy me.

I gulp and turn around, but I almost drop my phone when I see the other one standing right there, equal feet away as the other, his hoodie hanging over the mask as he pushes the tip of the knife into his index-finger, looking like he’s wondering what I’ll do. Which arms I’ll run into and meet my inevitable fate.

I shudder in place and look to my right.

The entrance to the maze.

I gulp.

I will most definitely get lost in there, but I have no other choice if I want to have even a shot at escaping their grasp.

So I tuck my phone into my pocket and bolt inside.

I don’t know which way to go, left, right, right, left, two further, another left, then a long way ahead, and another right. I have no clue where I am or if I’m going into the right direction, but as long as it’s far away from them, I’ll be fine.

I run and run through the maze until my feet can barely take it anymore. But their laughter in the background is making all the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

“We know where you are … We can hear your steps, Crystal.”

Is that … Caleb? It has to be. His voice sounds the same.

“One. Two. Three.”

Another voice I can’t place.

But each time I walk, I hear it.

“Four.” Another step. “Five. One to the right.”

He’s … counting my steps?

They know which direction I’m taking?!

“Go on … keep running away. The more you run, the more excited we get,” Caleb calls, a deep, rumbling laugh following, which makes goosebumps scatter on my skin.

I keep going left and right, trying to maintain a silent pace, while also hurrying up so they don’t catch up.

CRACK!

I spin on my heels to look, but there’s no one there.

Thunder flashes in the background, the sound making my heart beat just as loudly.

I step back, cautious of my surroundings. But when I turn around to look, I’m precisely back in the middle of that little hidden area with the big tree and the bench where I saw Blaine.

But the exit that was once there in the back, is now blocked off with several big wooden beams and a sign that says ‘renovation’.

Oh God.

I’m trapped.

CRACK!

The snapping of twigs makes me spin on my heels again, the cold of the rain settling in my very fucking skin as two masked individuals emerge from the maze. But I don’t know if it’s the rain turning my body cold or their maddening stares through those demonic golden masks.

“Found you.”

Sick Boys by Clarissa Wild Cover Reveal

Title: Evil Boys

Author: Clarissa Wild

Genre: Dark Bully RH Romance

Release Dates: July 2023, exact date TBA

Blurb

I was hellbent on making them pay. Instead, they bent and twisted me.

I am the golden child, the one who’s supposed to be perfect.

During the day I attend Spine Ridge University as my father wishes, but when darkness falls I put on my mask to hunt criminals and destroy them.

Until one night when I come face to face with three evil boys …

Kai, Nathan, and Milo from the Phantom Society. Secretive, violent, dirty guys who promise to expose my vigilante justice and put my dangerous side-job in the limelight.

They’ll show the world how savage I truly am … unless I let them have their way with me.

My body bartered for their silence … And I say yes.

They’re shameless in claiming me, not even my dignity is spared.

With their devious games they make me question my sanity.

Worst of all … I’m beginning to love every inch of their corruption.

Until it’s no longer just bodies against bodies, but four hearts beating in sync.

But if I’m really going to go down this path to hell …

I’m taking those devils with me.

Excerpt

Suddenly, someone snakes their hand around my waist and pulls me in for a dance. I glance over my shoulder and see a mask, but in the dark it’s hard to tell who. But their moves …

Sultry, smoking, like our bodies are entwined, dancing in rhythm to the music.

And I just can’t step away, no matter how many times my brain tells me I should.

I don’t know who this is, it could be anyone, or it could be Jason. It’s definitely a guy, judging from the calloused hands that grip me tightly.

But Jason never danced with me like this, like he doesn’t just want to entertain me but move my soul. And as his hand snakes up my belly and my hips move closer to his, my breathing picks up and my heartrate becomes unsteady.

Unhinged, as a set of lips breathe hot air right underneath my ear, lingering near my skin as an intention to kiss, but without the touch. And fuck me, I’m almost ready to lean in and let him.

“Jason?” I mutter over my shoulder.

“Try again…”

My breath falters, my body still swaying around in his arms. “Who are you?”

A delectable grin spreads against my skin. “Whoever you want me to be.”

He spins me around and his arm is locked around my body. But the darkness in the room still won’t allow me to see even a glimpse of his face, let alone his eyes.

Goddammit.

“What do you want?” I grit, wondering if I should pry myself away from him before those hands turn into bones. Because when Jason comes back, he’s definitely not going to be happy.

A dirty smirks spreads on his lips. “Dance with me.”

Before I can get a closer look, he spins me around again, dancing hip to hip, mixing sultry moves with sexy footwork that would put Jason to shame. I’m so glad he isn’t here to see me being whisked around.

“Wait, I have a boyfriend,” I mutter under my breath.

It can’t hurt to lie every once in a while if it keeps me safe and at least then Jason will be good for something.

Suddenly, the stranger pushes me over, and I nearly fall, but his hand cups the small of my back, keeping me steady. And in that moment I’m acutely aware of how each of his fingers gently press into me. He leans in, wolf-like teeth getting dangerously close to my neck as he whispers, “Not anymore.”

My jaw drops from the sheer arrogance in his voice.

Until his tongue dips out to lick my skin and by God I almost moan.

Just the tip. Just that one inch and it’s already enough to make me yield.

What the fuck?

He pulls me back up again, holding me close to his body as we softly sway to the music, his hand interlocked with mine, and I don’t know if I could let go if I wanted to.

His face is right beside mine, and I can feel his body against me, thick thighs, hard abs, trained but lean, built for the kill.

His lips hover close to my ear, whispering deadly words.

“I know what you are … kitty. A killer.”

My eyes widen.

I pull back, desperate to see who it is, but these damn dark lights aren’t helping. But the second I do, his hand releases mine and he disappears into the crowd like a ghost. And I’m left with a thrumming heart and a throbbing pussy.

Excerpt 2

“Show yourself!” I growl. “Who are you?”

“You still have two guesses left.” His voice is low and commanding, chill-inducing.

My nostrils flare and I reach for the second knife in my heels. My last weapon. My last shot to get him before he gets me.

I hold it close, ready to strike.

“Answer me!” I yell.

“You’re just as violent as I remember,” he muses back from across the room.

So he is one of the three guys I met at that fucker’s house.

I want to throw my knife so badly, but if I do I’ll have forfeited my last shot to get him. And if I miss … I’m fair game.

“I’m gonna fucking kill you,” I growl.

“Oh, now you’re talking my love language. C’mon then. Give me your best shot,” he taunts, bolting at me fast.

But as I attempt to throw, he comes out of nowhere and grips my wrist. Within a second he’s got me pinned me to the wall, and he pries the knife from my hand.

Enraged, I punch him, but he avoids my first hit like an expert.

So I lift my knee and kick him right in the stomach.

He groans and bucks, so I try to throw in another punch, but he grips my throat out of nowhere and pushes me up against the wall. His hand snakes around my neck so tightly I can barely breathe. I scratch at his fingers, desperate to get loose.

“Third try, little kitty,” he murmurs near my ear. “Who do you think I am? Think fast.”

I groan from the sheer force applied to my neck. “Fuck you.”

A faint, rumbling laugh emanates from deep within his chest. “I get the sense that you don’t want to admit that you were there …” His fingers dig into my skin as he leans in to whisper. “That you killed that man.”

“You following me around?” I hiss.

He smiles against my skin. “You make it so easy to find you … when you wear that ribbon.”

He plucks it from my hair and I suck in a breath as it drops to the floor.

So he’s the one who stole my ribbon that night. And that means those three definitely go to school here too. Fuck. Just my luck.

“What do you want?” I rasp.

“You stole our kill.” Each word is pronounced very deliberately, like he’s trying to make me feel guilty. But I don’t feel guilty at all.

“Your kill?” I scoff. “Sorry, I didn’t know there was a waiting line.”

He leans in and whispers, “Jokes won’t get you far, Lana.”

My eyes widen and my heart skips a beat. “How the fuck do you know my name?”

“That’s not the question you should be asking,” he murmurs. “What you should be asking is ‘how can I stop this man from telling the world about my murderous habits’?”

“Fuck off,” I lips, trying to break free from his grasp, but he’s much stronger than I am.

“Ah, ah … you won’t get away this time,” he murmurs.

“You think I want to get away?” I muse. “I came looking to kill you.”

He smiles against my skin. “God, I love your tenacity.” He slowly invades my space, pushing his body up against me until I can feel his thick thighs rub up against mine again, his bulge growing harder and harder. “You wanting to kill me only gets me hard.”

“Fuck you,” she growls.

“Oh, I will fuck you, all right,” he says, and his tongue dips out to lick the rim of my ear. “And you will definitely moan when bore my way through that wet little pussy of yours.”

“You wish,” I grit, and yet I can feel my pussy throbbing between my legs, but I ignore it.

“I know violence gets you going,” he whispers. “I can feel your heartbeat pick up, Lana.”

“Don’t—”

“Don’t what? Call you by your name?” He leans away. “I think you know as well as I do we’re well past introductions now.”

God-fucking-dammit, I wish I could see him more than anything.

“You know my name, now give me yours,” I say.

He snorts. “I’ll give it to you …” Suddenly, I feel something cold underneath my chin. A blade. Mine. “After you come for me.”

What? Did he just…?

Oh my fucking God, the arrogance!

“Fuck you, I would never—”

He removes his hand from my wrist, the knife still at my throat like an imminent and very clear threat.

If I move, I die.

But his hand slowly lowers down my arm, smoothing along my body, and every single one of my senses is awakened against my wishes. A soft groan escapes his mouth as he cups my breast, the sound so low and gravelly it brings goosebumps to my body.

And I don’t understand why my body has this reaction.

Why I feel the need to lean into his touch.

Fuck, what is wrong with you, Lana? Don’t let him do this.

But the second my muscles twitch, the blade pushes further into my skin.

“Don’t even think about it,” he says, his voice so dark it makes me gulp.

He moves further down my dress, until his hand is right there between my legs, making me feel needy, twisted, debased.

“You like that, don’t you?”

“You’re a—”

The knife pushes even further into my skin until I’m forced to tilt my head back. “Don’t insult me when the fun is just about to begin, kitty.”

“Don’t call me that,” I say through gritted teeth.

But his finger pushes down on my clit and I’m having such a hard time staying put.

“Don’t call you what?” he murmurs, rubbing my clit right through my dress. “A violent little kitty?”

“Ridiculous,” I scoff, but his fingers keep working me, and it’s hard not to breathe puffy breaths. I hate to even think about how damp I’m already becoming.

Stop it, Lana, don’t even think about getting wet.

“No, what’s ridiculous was thinking that cat mask would protect you from being found,” he says, his hand slipping down further until he reaches the bottom of the dress near my thighs, and his fingers creep underneath. “But I found you. And now I’m going to have so much fun with you.”

EXCERPT

As soon as we’re alone, the air shifts. Shadows dance across the tabletop. Megan’s jasmine perfume scents the air, and my body temperature rises.

I struggle to remember our conversation yesterday. I remind myself that my child—the same one that occupied the seat next to me a minute ago—is my priority. Over and over, I replay all the reasons why I can’t afford to get off track.

Why I can’t touch Megan Kramer.

My muscles tighten in my stomach and across the back of my neck as I lift my gaze from the tabletop to her.

She grins. It’s simple, but when coupled with the heat in her eyes, there’s nothing sweet about it. “That was fun.”

I hold her gaze, unable to look away.

This is the first day, Chase. Twenty-nine more to go. Don’t blow it already.

I smirk and push away from the table.

I need to put some distance between us before things get really fun.
