Nathan Fox is a former Marine an ex vice cop who works security for Onyx Casino and does secret missions for the Reliance Group.    He is task to find a runaway girl who is last seen with a guy who is known to like underage girls as he hooks them on drugs and alcohol before he tosses them away.  This hits close to him since his last undercover job as a cop. he promised to protect another underage girl who was going to testify she ends up being killed the day of the trial.

Nicole Hutton is a journalist who is waiting for her big break.  She ends up doing a segment on speeding dating where they both attend. They hit it off and end up together as she leaves in the middle of the night without ever seeing him again.

But fate has other ideas as their paths cross again.  The two go undercover to find the missing girl as they need each other.   A interesting and well paced story.
